Not satisfied with customer service Cuisinart

What I don't like is that after about 2 months the screws on the inside of the lid started to rust. Although Cuisinart will replace it under warranty, I have to pay for shipping both ways (you can ship it any way you want, but you have to send them $15 for return postage). Why should I pay $30 to replace a defective product? Currently I am no longer inclined to invest in this product. In my opinion, Cuisinart needs to support its product better. If it was 2 or 3 years old, fine, but it's not…

GREAT WHILE LEAKING

The kettle is excellent. Heat water to a specific temperature for green tea, white tea, french press coffee, etc. The kettle heats up 10 times faster (which is cheaper) than a stovetop kettle. This teapot is great. 18 months later it is leaking and there is water on the countertop. Cuisinart says box it up with proof of purchase and a $15 check, ship it to Arizona and get a replacement (guaranteed?). In reviews, it is often criticized that the pan is leaking. Am I willing to take the risk? Like

Slow death until entropy takes over!

This product was purchased from Revain on May 8th, 2013 and has expired today (12th August 2016). It was a great kettle for the first year of ownership, we loved it from the start. Within the first year it lost the stickers on the buttons, we thought it's ok, we can deal with it, it still works so we took care of it for a while. .Then in the second year it just started boiling and boiling from time to time without stopping, in the end it didn't stop boiling, so we watched it and turned it off…

Poor product and customer service

I purchased this product in September 2015 for just over $80. In December it stopped working at all. After numerous email and phone exchanges to verify the serial number and to ensure the product was not used for commercial purposes (it is not), I was informed that the product is covered by a 'limited' warranty , which means I will have to pay for shipping the product back to Cuisinart and a $15 shipping and handling fee for the replacement product. I think it is unacceptable for a reputable…

DEFECTIVE RETURN GUARANTEE

BUYERS BEWARE! CUISINART'S "LIMITED WARRANTY" MAY BE LEGAL, BUT IT IS ALMOST A FRAUD! I bought this kettle in September 2015 and it broke down in December 2015. The one-year warranty is USELESS. When I called to troubleshoot, they sent me a replacement base. The replacement was almost a month old and dead when it arrived. Possibly defective but most likely the kettle was to blame. When I called to exchange the kettle, I found that (1) I must first ship the kettle back to them and (2) I must…

Dangerous fault and not built to last

UPDATE: I am updating this review after discovering a dangerous fault with this kettle. The kettle should turn off automatically when it's boiling and it usually does, but every few weeks it just won't turn off, it just keeps boiling even with all the lights off. Luckily I was home every time that happened so I turned it off to turn it off. Even removing it from the base doesn't turn it off as it just starts cooking again when you put it down. If it had stayed like this all the water would have
