Review on πŸ’ͺ AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 Black Edition: 6-Core Processor with Unparalleled Performance by Stanislaw Gorka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

My FX8320 was overclocked to 4.4 GHz; the voltage remained constant at 1.428; and the processor is effectively cooled with an Igloo H46 cooler (950). There is no need to spend excessive money on monster coolers for normal overclocking. At 100% load and during encoding, the temperature in games should not exceed 50 degrees. All current games run smoothly when paired with the Zotac GTX660, but this video card is insufficient; a GTX680 is required to experience the speed. You may run the game and other programs without any issues, like archiving or encoding. It is preferable to get superior cooling and use this processor in OEM form. Since almost all contemporary programs are multithreaded, there is a reserve for the future.

Pros
  • 1 - The price for 8 cores is excellent, offering the best value for the money. 2 - Multitasking and multi-threaded programs' speed 3 - Despite a heavy load, keeps working without using the brakes Unlocked multiplier: four 5 - Averaging up the speed to 4.3 to 4.5 GHz without noticeably raising the voltage 6 - A heavy load with a cooler for 1000 does not reach a temperature of 60 degrees. 7 - The Core i7 is highlighted by its excellent encoding and archiving speeds. 8 - All modern projects and video games are fantastic. 9 - High frequency, simplicity of operation (particularly after overclocking). 10 - The best motherboards for these processors are affordable and less expensive than Intel 11 - My system's score in Windows 7: 7.9 for video (GTX 660), 7.8 for CPU, 7.9 for RAM.
Cons
  • 1 - Painstaking Bios tweaking is necessary when overclocking to higher frequencies (over 4.5). Energy usage is number two. 3 - Intel will be faster if a single threaded program is used. 4. Require proper case ventilation
