Review on Effortless Wire Crimping with Ferrule Crimping πŸ’ͺ Tool Kit and 1900pcs Wire Terminals Crimping Connectors by Joshua Turner

Good price for home or small business.

This set is a great valve for anyone just starting out with electrical engineering or who doesn't need high performance valves like the $200 Knipex. Very easy to use. The inner label shows the metric to SAE conversion so you can size the cable to match the colored ferrule you need. I find the hex crimp wraps around the wire better and is easier to insert than the square crimp. This is useful for block terminals where wires are inserted into a hole. The ferrule prevents wires from fraying during insertion and also in cases where wires need to be repeatedly removed and reinstalled. It also makes for a cleaner installation for open connections like car amplifiers. The maximum crimp size is 10 AWG. The 8awg fits snugly on the crimping tool, but sticks when attempting to crimp. Supplied sizes drop down to 24 AWG, which is roughly the size of a power cord. The cloth pouch seems sturdy enough to hold a crimping tool and a set of ferrules. There is a strap on the body that helps keep the lid on the tip box after the inevitable pull of the tab. The crimper can be adjusted to almost full travel to lock closed for storage in the case. The crimper is a ratchet so you can lock the tip before inserting the wire when working in tricky or tight places. The crimping tool has some play where the twist grip meets the crimping head. With moderate use, it should never reach the point of failure.
