Review on 🔪 Zyliss Handheld Slicer - 13-inch - White/Red by Tara Perry

I have a very expensive fancy mandolin with lots of attachments, discs and straws in endless combinations. The problem is that in most cases it was too much trouble to get out. This little thing does most of what I need with minimal effort. It's small enough to fit in a desk drawer and is quick to access when I want to use it. If I had a little more wall space I would use the hole in the handle and hang it next to the cutting board. The blade is sharp but jams when not in use. The included food holder protects your fingers well. The hole in the center is too small to use, but it is not necessary. I often use a mandolin for thinly slicing cucumbers and radishes for salads and for thinly slicing onions. I can quickly cook a whole pan of caramelized onions. Best of all, it can be washed in the dishwasher right away so it's ready for next time. The whimsical mandolin is now boxed and ready to be gifted to your gourmet friends. This one just suits me.
