Bits made of extremely soft metal

The first screw I tried to loosen with a T6 bit came out fine. The second screw I tried to loosen with light to moderate pressure caused the bit to bend. The torque was so low that I was shocked when I realized what had happened. Looks like I took a twizzler and twisted one end. It has to be the softest metal I've ever seen. The design of the item is great but if the bits don't do their job then it's useless to me.
