I like comprehensive reviews so here is my post. I am a mechanical engineer with a good understanding of electrical systems. I weld for my work and hobby, TIG, MIG/MAG, Stick. This device is AWESOME and definitely the best value for money you can have. Build quality is similar to Miller and Lincoln but cheaper. Not only for do-it-yourselfers, but also for professional use. Have you ever wondered how nice it is to carry around a car that costs 1/5 miller and if you beat it you can buy 4 more? plus 2 year warranty. Tested in ALL modes. Works VERY WELL at 120V, and whoever commented anything negative probably has no basic knowledge of what the trade-off in 120V welding is - if your 120V power wiring isn't up to par, it certainly won't work , but it's the same for EVERY brand and model! I have successfully made 120A TIG AC and DC as well as Stick. This power is enough to use 7018 1/8" rod. Speaking of 7018 rods, it welds so smoothly that it looks like you're welding with 6013 or 7014 rods. Almost no sticking at the beginning of the arc and definitely a 7018 weld with a much easier start than the Miller Bobcat (a machine I often use in the field) Great features like inclines and declines, large AC balance of 30-70%, 2T/4T, cutter with Trigger for tricky positions and foot pedal for bench work Pedal is solid and heavy enough not to step off Comes with a well made argon regulator Welding in EMF noise spots is a problem, you can't use it - Dinse 9 plug, not 13 as I would expect from a TIG 200A/180A rod - European torch, very good quality but not my personal preference, so like it's heavier, bulkier and the cord stiffer than a normal torch. W As you can see the downsides are peanuts and definitely make up for this good price. Over time I may update this review if a new bad/good relevant thing applies.
