I bought this ink because it would cost me over $100 to replace the cartridges in my HP printer with a manufacturer ink cartridge. Printing was good initially, but after a few days of not using it, the print quality became illegible, like the cartridges were almost empty. However, the cartridges were almost full. Cleaning the printhead with the printer's Clean Print Head Tool didn't help much. I had to dip the print head in shallow warm water to clean the print head and after that the print quality was satisfactory. Since this ink was less than $25 I won't give it the lowest rating and it may work well. for your printer. As for me, I just take the printhead off and rinse it with warm water, but I don't think many people want to put up with that. This problem has never occurred with manufacturer inks, even when the printer has been idle for weeks.
