This unit is about 1/8th inch too big for my opening so I had to grind away a bit of the metal to get it in there. That was the only hassle for me, besides not having any installation instructions or owner's manual.Like all tankless water heaters, it's a compromise between water pressure and temperature.I had to turn the main water inlet down to about 30-40% to keep 120 degree water flowing continuously. This meant all the cold water pressure was also much lower. So I added a shutoff valve at the Recpro inlet so I can keep just the water heater pressure at about 40% while still having 100% cold water pressure. This adds a bit more pressure to the shower and makes a big difference in how long it takes for the toilet to fill.
