I found out about this product when my friend bought one for her new truck. I would say that a waterproof dog car seat cover is definitely a good thing. Well made and easy to install, remove and clean. These dog seat covers protect the back seat of cars/trucks from all sorts of things a dog might carry, from mud and sand to moisture. I have a furry baby with a bunch of fluffy hair, she pees on my car sometimes and sheds all over the place all the time and this dog seat protector is really a life saver, non-leaking and easy to clean. I like the side flaps too. A hammock-style seat protector that snaps into place to protect the inside of doors from scratches and saliva. It also has rubber grips that tuck between the back seat panels to hold it in place while my dog drives. Metal clips and hooks look safe. The mesh panel on the front allows my dog to see me while riding and they are less afraid of separation when riding in the back. AND! I think the highlight of this product is the front zip design! I can open it and just put one side against the floor panel, then there is legroom, which means my dog can share the rear seat cover with my passenger. And there are Velcro straps for seat belt access. Great product! Love it!
