I have tried almost all the major brands of professional cookware including of course Calfalon and fully coated. This set from Hestan is a step ahead of them. There is no denying that this set is expensive. Spend a lot of money on a five-piece cookware set, but in this case you really do get what you pay for. The workmanship of these pans is excellent and they look great. I appreciate the fact that they include a bottle of Contigo water as a bonus. This cookware set really shines on the stovetop. We cook on a gas range and these pans did a great job of distributing the heat evenly throughout the pan. Better cookware just cooks better, and the dishes we normally cook with other cookware actually come out better and taste better with Hestan. This is my first experience with the Hestan brand and I am really impressed. This set became our main set and since then we have stopped using the old set.
