The item was useful for caulking my bathroom but there was room for improvement. My biggest issue was that the plastic scraper didn't retract far enough to completely get out of the way when using the smoothing attachments. Detachable straightening tips are actually easier to use by holding them in your hand rather than attaching them to the tool.
