I bought this for my crested gecko's small home. She needs temperature and humidity constantly within acceptable limits, so it's important for me to know exactly what's happening to her as soon as possible. Hook it in place from the back. Powered by a single, easy-to-install, replaceable battery. The screen is clear and easy to read. Setting the ranges is similar to setting the alarm: press/hold, move numbers up and down, etc. The temperature alarm is a nice addition as my girl can quickly suffer from hot/cold range changes. I see an immediate change in hygrometer readings as soon as I spray the tank. Overall I like it and would buy it again, but wish it had a humidity signal as well, not just temperature.
