Slightly disappointed

I ordered this peeler when I couldn't replace my old peeler I bought at Wal-Mart a few years ago. I struggled with a very boring peeler for years and one day I decided to buy a new one. It only cost 88 cents. When I first used it I thought it was the best 88 cents I've ever spent! It was so beautiful and touching. He peeled vegetables like butter. But after a few years of very heavy use, I noticed that this little peeler might not be as sharp as when I first bought it. So, back at Wal-Mart, I started looking for a replacement. There was no. I checked several other stores and couldn't find one that I already had that I liked as much. So I did what I always do when I can't find anything locally. I bought Revvan. Well this knife was very similar to my favorite knife I already had and I liked that it was made of stainless steel. Yes, it was more expensive than my 88-cent wonder, but then how much gas would I spend to find what I was looking for? So I dared. I don't like it as much as my old one. Firstly I think both are equally sharp which means the new one isn't as sharp because I'm comparing it to my old knife which I've been using almost every day for several years. Another problem I have is that the handle is bigger than my old peeler. I'm not that tall and this knife digs into my hands when I grab it. It doesn't take a lot of exfoliation to make it uncomfortable. That's why I give this scrub three stars. I make the bowl. Is this stainless steel. If you have big hands, you might find this knife more comfortable than me. I kept my old vegetable cutter and will reach for that first. This knife will do until I find a replacement for my old one. UPDATE: My husband used this mango peeler, with some difficulty may I add, and next thing we knew it was falling apart! There is a nailhead pin on the bottom of the handle that goes through a small hole. This piece-like pin came out of the hole, causing the knife blade to fall off the handle. I managed to slip this pinhead back through the hole, but I'm not sure how long it will last.
