Review on πŸ—ΊοΈ Garmin nuvi 255: Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Map Updates - Efficient Navigation Companion by Chelsea Hernandez

Love at first sight and cards for life

I just received my 255 and haven't used it yet but wanted to say how happy I am with this size. It's much easier to manage and take with me, which is what I plan to do, rather than installing it in a car. However, I think it would be visible from the dashboard if that's what you prefer. Box of lifetime cards. The Nuvi 255 arrived quickly enough for me to compare them and I found the 255 much easier to work with. Based on the posts here I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get Lifetime Maps but the map is included which I wanted to report immediately as several people were having issues. The 255 doesn't come with a USB cable to connect it to a computer, but I had one. Comparing the NUVI 255 to the NUVI 1300LM on the Garmin website, the features are identical except for the maps. Since I got the tickets, I can go. So the Nuvi 255 is perfect for me precisely because I wanted a smaller size. Got everything I wanted, based on what I've read, about $40-$60 less depending on Revain's current price than I paid for 1300. I will report any open issues. The reviews here really helped my decision, so I'm happy to say I got my tickets!
