If you are purchasing this product based on the advertised results. Keep looking elsewhere. I don't know what world this would be considered a soft-closing loop in, but let me tell you, it's not on earth. The instructions that came with the product are best described as a nondescript screenshot of the images on this product page. It was easy to install, but it worked like it had never been installed. I did notice a slight tightening of the rotating part when first installing so I flipped it over thinking it would make a difference. It's not like this. Keep in mind that the lid I put it on weighs less than a pound and closes just as quickly whether this thing is on it or not. Huge waste of time! All positive reviews are lies.
