With a little self-wiring, this GPS can send a PPS signal through the DCD pin of the RS-232 serial port and provide an accurate time to NTP runs on Linux or BSD. Currently, this offers PPS blocking in less than a millisecond, and the GPS is on the top floor of a multi-story building. Great fun/hobby block at a great price.
