Perfect for my 1998 14 year old van. I have heated mirrors so I didn't want to remove the old cracked mirror hoping the heat would continue to flow. I did not use the 2 adhesive strips that came with the mirror. Instead I used a silicone strip around an old cracked mirror (held up by 14 years of corrosion and an electrical element behind it) + another strip down the middle. I was hoping that the continuous roll would capture the heat of the mirror in a small space and have no choice but to channel it into the new mirror. I clamped it (gently) for 24 hours. The size of the mirror is perfect for setting the overlay and the curve is also perfect. At the end of the installation, the heat continues to flow through the glass, albeit more slowly. Definitely better than the $350 the dealer wanted!
