While I like the thick rubber coating on this pad (definitely think it's a mouse pad), the "material" on the top of the pad is so thin that it could be well not available. It definitely doesn't absorb water. Yes, you can get out of the shower on this mat without slipping, but you have to wipe the water off the mat with a towel, otherwise it will only collect on the mat. It's a shame because my door is too low to the floor and it's almost impossible to find a rug or rug for the door to go over without snagging. I was hoping this mat would solve my problem, but it doesn't. The search continues.
