This product is straightforward. It clings well to my window and helps block out some heat/sun. It's not going to black out a window, but I bought it to help cut back on some of the heat coming in through my sliding door since my complex doesn't allow non white shades/films on windows. Easy enough to cut down to size. Like any static cling it's tough to get it perfectly flat and takes a little while to install it so it looks good. I found it helps to install from the bottom up, though. And use a squeege to help install it. Also, the water called for in the instructions helps. TL;DR: Cuts down on the light/heat coming through a window and stays up.
