I bought a size 8 for my 8 year old son and it fits as expected with little room to grow. He is 49 inches tall and weighs 52 pounds. Good quality (no protruding threads, no breaks or dents, no chips). I bought the red and blue set (Eclipse) and he liked the material. The red is like a soft t-shirt material (cotton/poly) and the dark blue is like a soft, smooth compression material. The price is ok ($28) for two new balance shirts. I had already bought a matching set of shorts from a retail store and wanted two complete outfits. We've had them for about 3-4 months now and he wears them every week so they've been washed a few times and they're holding up well (still look/feel like new). I wash them in a sports wash on a gentle cycle with other compression garments, tumble dry on low heat.
