These D rings are very well made and quite heavy. I am very satisfied with their quality and I am sure that they will work perfectly. The only thing I would add is that these D-rings require a 0.75" deep, 3.5" diameter hole to be drilled in the wood deck. This will require a drill press with a half-inch chuck, a 3.5-inch hole saw, and a chisel or two. There are probably other ways to get the job done, but the bottom line is that this product requires some effort to install cleanly and securely. (Some assembly required ;-))) This is a five star product in my opinion.
