Good price, big drawback.
Got this as a replacement for the pump in our 02 CRV. Honda is ridiculously proud of their OEM part. They wanted $950 for the role. So $65 for that was a great deal. A big problem. The inlet hose connection was on the opposite side where it should have been. I think that's a pretty big design flaw. Luckily the tech that got it working for me still managed to get it working. Be aware if you plug this in yourself it will take some jury power to connect the hose.
- Function: The power steering pump is used to apply the necessary pressure to the wheels for gentle steering. If the steering system hears a squeak, the steering wheel can be felt, or the power steering belt is damaged, you need to check the steering pump, but it is better to replace it.
