There are so many things I like about these doors. 1. The wood is terrific. 2. The parts come wrapped in bubble wrap for protection. 3. Most of the door parts are well manufactured and 4. the doors are relatively easy to put together. I bought one 36" door and five 42" doors. They arrived on time and in good shape.However, the crossbars do not fit and they should. They are short. How difficult would it be for them to get this right . . . and they wouldn't do it. The crossbars on all six of the doors I bought are too short when matched to their fit in SmartStandard's photos of the doors on their Ebay web page. I emailed SmartStandard photos of the crossbars on my doors and answered their various questions for a week. Their final decision? They would not replace the crossbars because they felt they were just fine the way they were. What a disappointment. Come on guys . . . you are so close.
