Fake claims, toxic smell.
This carpet isn't revolutionary and it's not even better than my old one. It is badly creased and does NOT lay flat contrary to what the seller advertises. Also, this pad has a strong chemical smell, so I'm concerned about its safety as well (I'll put it outside to see if the smell goes away). Maybe the manufacturer doesn't follow the process or the whole idea behind this product is fake. I would recommend not using this rug anyway and buy cheaper traditional rugs that look exactly the same but have no safety issues.
