Okay, that's magic. I got a Vizio TV for free from a friend, no remote control so I had to order one. Got this in the mail today, there weren't any instructions on how to set it up so I came here to see if the instructions were posted. I've seen someone say they didn't have to settle in at all. So I took what seemed to me a silly coincidence and pushed the power button in the direction of the TV. And he just tuned in. Magic exists, y'all. I've tried turning the volume up and down and using different inputs and again: instantly responsive. Buy this remote control and some AAA batteries and you're good to go.
