Review on Lee's Pet Products ALE12521 6-Pack Discard a Stone Disposable Air Diffuser for Fine Aquarium Pump by Joshua Reese

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Misleading picture OK Item

I couldn't find a good bubble that produces small bubbles. Large bubbles make a much louder noise than small ones, and with my reservoirs in my bedroom, it's not easy to fall asleep to all the noise. However, they create small bubbles, which is great until air comes out at the end. You will receive a few "rocks" made from pool noodle material and as many clear plastic hose connectors. One end goes into the micro pool noodle and the other end connects to the hose. The air is meant to be forced through the porous material of the Micropool Noodles, but due to the manufacturer's decision to keep the connector and sponge stone separate, leaving room for the air to go up the path of least resistance up the side of the plastic connector. and from the end of the stone. This renders the product practically unusable. Lee has a way of letting me down so I shouldn't expect much. Every Lee brand item I have purchased has been inferior. They make scary products, so I suggest you dig in your wallet and buy a pumice stone instead. At least they glue connectors to it. Oh, because of the misleading picture. Although I read the description to know I would only receive one package, some people may think they will receive more.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • A little change
