Gibabit not!

The product description says "Gigabit" but as the reviews mention, this device limits the speed to 100Mbps. I tested it with speedtest.net and compared the speed with and without this box. Without this box I get 230 Mbit/s, but as soon as I put the box in line, the speed drops to 80 Mbit/s. Also, the instructions are very sketchy and to be honest I'm still not sure if I trust this thing. It's hardwired into my private network and I have no way of knowing if it's "spying" on me. I strongly recommend not using this device.
