October 16, 2019, exactly 4 years since I replaced it in my 2005 Silverado. On Sunday October 6th 2019 he finally gave up on me and got roasted. When I removed it for troubleshooting I found corrosion on the side of the sensor reeds and also attempted to melt the harness connector. Not sure what could be causing this, but it worked fine at the time I had it. It's also pretty easy to fix. I'm very careful with my wiring so I hate cutting back on my good repair and installing a new one. This time I choose a different brand because it's $20 cheaper than Delco and it's made in the same country. IMHO all of these components are the same, so cheaper doesn't mean it's inferior to the Delco name. I'm just saying. I'm still giving five stars because that's what you'd expect from replacement parts these days. Nothing lasts much longer and it worked great for its relatively short lifespan.
