Review on 🔧 Crescent 12 Pc. Torx® Bit Socket Set - CBSS2N: 1/4" & 3/8" Drive for Efficient Torx® Fastening by Scott Lavimodiere

I took a chance on this set because it was a really good price on this set. It's nice to have a Jeep studded with large Torx bolts. But Crescent is traditionally an American company and their adjustable wrenches are still made in the USA. They still have the red, white and blue logo on their branding, but this set doesn't mention where it was made. So gambling. The plastic packaging says Made in China on the back. I wasn't expecting the US, but I was at least hoping for Taiwan, which is making much better instruments lately. If I knew they were made in China I'd probably just buy something that can be replaced locally under warranty like Craftsman at Lowes or Pittsburg at HF. The packaging says nothing about a lifetime guarantee. So now it's "Made in China" and the lack of a lifetime warranty means it's worthless to me.
