Good day! I have been using Anchor floss threads for a very long time. These are my favorite threads. It is very easy to recognize them - by the anchor on the label. On the reverse side, the composition and country of production are indicated. I would like to pay attention to the composition. Wherever Anchor threads are produced: in Germany or Hungary, it is always 100% cotton. I've never met anyone else with them. On the tag below, under the barcode, the shade number is indicated. On the back are care instructions. As you can see, these threads are not afraid of very hot temperatures: they can be washed at 95 degrees and ironed at the maximum temperature. There are a lot of shades of these threads. A very large number of patterns for embroidery are prescribed specifically for the Anchor palette. Because with such a variety of shades, you can perfectly convey the picture. The colors are all saturated, colorful, but not poisonous. On the finished embroidered work, they are obtained as close as possible to the natural color. Look very nice! Threads: glossy, smooth, soft, villi do not stick out. The cut ends, as usual, are slightly stratified. For all the time that I use them, I have never come across hanks with marriage or a defect. Threads pass through the fabric very smoothly, easily. When embroidered, they do not twist, do not get confused, do not bind into knots. Working with them is easy and convenient. I did not notice the difference between Anchor floss and more expensive DMC at all. And in structure, and in shades, and in quality - they are the same. In the future, the threads also showed themselves on the good side. When washing, they do not shed, the colors do not fade, the embroidery does not spread, the threads do not come out. And even with time, the embroidery looks the same as new. On the canvas and on Aida 16 I embroider in two threads, and on Aida 14 in three. So the fabric under the embroidery practically does not shine through. I tried many threads: both cheaper and more expensive, but I came to the conclusion that Anchor floss is still the best. I advise all needlewomen to try them.
