The blocking mats came quickly in an easy to store case but 100 pens were scattered everywhere because their little plastic container has a loose lid. So the first unpacking of the mats was a nightmare with pins stuck to the mats, between the mats etc. I ended up having to use a rubber band to secure the plastic needle box. Numbered squares ensure quick and easy assembly and all grid lines are perfectly aligned; While the centimeter side has black grid lines, the inch side is a lighter blue, and many have faded in places, making them difficult to read. It is a pity, that they didn't use black on either side and did a quality check to make sure I wasn't sending a faulty product (cardboard box with pins and grid lines on the blue side). I'm leaving the set as each blocking mat seems to have issues with something. This one lays flat, the pieces connect smoothly, the grid lines are even, but it's too easy to read on a page in places, and the pen box doesn't function as a safe place to store 100 sharp pins.
