I bought this for my parakeet lady. She begins to nest. It is the perfect size for her and has enough space for her. However, when I received it, I expected the latter to clip it to the side of the cage to keep it from dangling. This is very unattractive to me and I want to mimic her natural look as much as possible. She seems to like it, and that's the main thing. Another thing that makes me nervous about this product is the string that the coconut is hung from. My birds are destructive. And I am so scared that they will break the string, causing the coconut to fall. Maybe I wouldn't be so nervous if there was an option to omit stairs. Or if you can remove the ladder and use it as a separate item.
