They only get 2 stars because they're pretty as hell and +1 because they're heavy. They look great in the kitchen. Paw pads feel leathery. They match our log cabin theme. The little leather claws are just adorable. Unfortunately, they are stuffed so well that they don't bend well. This makes it very difficult to lift baking sheets or hold pans well. I got so frustrated trying to use them that I gave up and used the cheap ones, deciding they were better left for decoration. On the plus side, the optics and material are really solid. They're just incredibly stiff and uncomfortable to use.
