It's adorable but apart from the silicone pads the mittens don't protect your hands. Tonight I burned my right index finger pulling the pan out of the oven and tossing the meal, covered in 1000-degree oil and butter, back into the oven. 2 hours later it still hurts. Injuries would be far worse if the oven door was fully open. I never write bad reviews, but it's dangerous.

They only get 2 stars because they're pretty as hell and +1 because they're heavy. They look great in the kitchen. Paw pads feel leathery. They match our log cabin theme.
