Updated March 26, 2021; After almost 4 months, Klipsch is finally on the mend. They sent a brand new Cinema 600 kit as a warranty replacement. The sub is about twice the size of the original. I haven't installed it yet, but I won't be using it in my family room. There is already a solution. I won't raise the rating given all the issues. I really hope that Klipsch comes together. Your story is great America, you could do better. UPDATE 02/01/2021; Rating downgraded to lowest, like many things in 2020 the Bar 48 has let me down exactly one year after I bought it, it's DEAD. No light, no sound. I contacted Klipsch and got the usual rumors about how damn busy they were. Two weeks later I sent a reply to the enema, received another reply "We are sooooo busy". Posted another reply last week, still nothing from Klipsch. So I spent over $600 on the Bar 48 and the surround speakers and that only lasted me for a year. And what's worse, it NEVER sounded as good as it was supposed to. So I pulled out a five-year-old Onkyo sound processor, bought three small Polk speakers (center + left and right), and pulled an 8-inch Polk subwoofer out of the case. Without surround sound, this setup sounds much better. Sure My first review is below, do yourself a favor stay away from this product. I had very high hopes for this device but had many problems setting it up. I hope to solve these problems by uploading a new firmware. was a big mistake. Especially since I did not comply with the serial number limitation of the available firmware. After I bricked, a lengthy email to support went unanswered for weeks. I then received an email saying sorry we were busy, we will get back to you. Another week later I tried to install the firmware for the fourth or fifth time. As it turned out, there was a new firmware version that really installed correctly from the first time and solved all the problems with the e Bar 48 and Bluetooth subwoofer. I have another review of Surround 3 speakers in this configuration. For the amount of money I paid for this system I probably should have used some sort of Bluetooth transmitter or other wireless device with a regular set of speakers and a regular TV sound amp. While it's very slim and has a high-tech feel, it's just not the level of performance I've come to expect from Klipsch. To edit; I decided to upgrade the stars in this review as the sound quality is bordering on very good now that the correct firmware is installed. But I've decided to leave it as is, given the complexity of the setup and the delay in solving my issue with the given setup. It's not a particularly new device, so I'm amazed that a consumer can follow all the instructions and still have so many problems getting a working system. The support site should categorically forbid a person from downloading a firmware whose serial number does not match. That was the point. A firmware update was available that damaged devices from a certain serial number. Without a proper gatekeeper on the site, the device itself should refuse to download incompatible firmware. Fortunately, the device did not stop working completely, and after installing the appropriate firmware, the device works normally.
