Rear channel pairing is difficult

I bought surround speakers for the rear channels to pair with center and base. It didn't go well. I had to download new drivers to the center to get the rear ones to work. Why you need to download new drivers for a new speaker system is kind of amateurish. Klipsch makes great speakers, obviously they're not that good at electronics. Then I couldn't get the base to work properly. I can't control the volume on the base and it's very loud compared to other speakers. I use a separate volume control

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Some minor things

Great soundbar - great construction will buy again

Great soundbar, dedicated center channel really makes a difference when it comes to dialogue with loud background music/noise. Also helps with "surround" effect, it's very easy to distinguish that there are 3 channels. The sound is great for the price, it has about 9 speakers in a solid wood case so it sounds way better than the regular plastic speakers you find in the price range. Keep in mind that soundbars are not true 5.x/7.x speakers and are not supposed to sound as good as they do. This…

The Good, The Meh, The Bad, The Ugly

Good: I have a Bar 48 in a small room - max 10x15. This gives a very impressive sound in a range of this size. There are many settings you can tweak to customize the sound profile to your liking. The subwoofer really adds to the sound. I look forward to adding environments to complete the scene. Mech: This is a soundbar after all, NOT a complete home theater setup with the best of individual components. If you're expecting a cinematic experience, be prepared to spend a lot more money than you…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • So far so good

Buyer beware if there is problem with open box purchase

I bought this at a reduced price because it was open box. The seller's website says the packaging is damaged. The item was in new condition. It was. Everything was not opened, the corner of the box was simply torn off. Everything in the box was in the original packaging and brand new. I was very pleased. I thought I had made a good purchase so far. :( I was having issues with the subwoofer losing bluetooth connection to the bar. I did some research and it's a known issue with them. The support…

Too many questions: Home Audio

Really good sound, great subwoofer. Good that there is 3.1, the center channel really helps. Crappy wall mounts. They had to make a better wall mount and get rid of useless color changing end caps. I like the remote feel but it's cheap. I have had many soundbars and this one is truly amazing. I've had home theater systems and soundbars that don't really compare, but are easier to install and offer a lot more flexibility. Plays well in different modes. It doesn't expand the sound as much as DTS…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

440w system and subwoofer, 60w stated on the back (if you plan on swapping out the subwoofer like me). This is the only 3.1 system I've been able to find with a subwoofer for under $1,000. The center channel is important for movies because it reproduces vocals. The subwoofer output is important to me because soundbar subwoofers typically suck, stay unplugged, and often fail. I find the bass adds to the experience. Too bad I didn't hear it before ordering the SVS PB1000 as this subwoofer fills…

Klipsch Bar 48 - Speaker

Updated March 26, 2021; After almost 4 months, Klipsch is finally on the mend. They sent a brand new Cinema 600 kit as a warranty replacement. The sub is about twice the size of the original. I haven't installed it yet, but I won't be using it in my family room. There is already a solution. I won't raise the rating given all the issues. I really hope that Klipsch comes together. Your story is great America, you could do better. UPDATE 02/01/2021; Rating downgraded to lowest, like many things in

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.
