I was very excited to try this shampoo. When Covid hit I stopped highlighting my hair so thought it might give it some light. But after the first few uses I didn't notice any difference in color. As a child, my hair was almost white, and over the years it has darkened to its current natural dark blonde color. Unfortunately, not only did I not notice the lightening of my hair, but part of my neck and behind my ears flared up. Since then I've found my skin to flare up from coconut and coconut derivatives. And of course my scalp too. I bought a Klorane spray in a non-coconut whitening and am still trying. Most people don't have problems with coconut like I do and it's found in many beauty products. So you might like it and it seemed delicate. I'd love to keep using it to see if it will lighten my hair over time, but obviously I can't.
