Review on Wagner ZD1194 Ceramic Brake Pad Set at QuickStop by Abaraham Duvernot

SKRIP SKRIK SKRIK SKRIK

Let me start by saying that I have been using Wagner brakes on my private vehicles and vehicles that pass through my workshop for many years. They fit best and last the longest with no problems until recently. I think they changed the formula to accommodate some new regulations. The box said something about meeting the 2021 standard. This is the third Wagner ZD1194 kit I've installed on my 2010 Suburban. I actually removed the factory upholstery when they were almost new to them. I put on my last set in February 2019 and regularly noticed a squeak. I thought it would be a tough spot on the block so I rode it for a while. After 6000 km of driving they still creak. I sent them back to Amazon and bought the exact same ones from a parts supplier. They creaked the same way for 300 miles. I gave a guarantee on the rotors because everything else is fine. The violin is alive! Frustrated with the whole situation, I bought a smaller NewTek branded kit and haven't had a squeak since. What have you changed, Wagner? Change back!
