Review on 🧹 Bissell Cleanview Bagless Vacuum Cleaner 2486 - Powerful and Efficient Orange Vacuum for a Spotless Home by Julie Serrano

It was with some trepidation that we received an affordable vacuum that complemented our Kirby industrial strengths. We've had disappointing results with inexpensive vacuums (from another big brand). But this Bissell impressed us the first time we used it with how much dust, lint and pet hair it picked up from what we thought was a pretty clean carpet! It's light for a vacuum cleaner, all plastic. Not as noisy as other vacuums we've had. Hardly scares the dog. Works great at Level 1 for hardwood, laminate and tile. At these heights the head was low enough to get under most of my cabinets and vacuum up to the wall/corner. This vacuum cleaner is very easy to carry up and down stairs and can be carried with one hand. I appreciate the fact that you can see the brush rotation and canister fill and that all the tools are attached to the machine. You're more likely to use tools if you don't have to look for them in a drawer or closet. He was great at picking up dog hair. I liked the small hand brush for removing pet hair from the couch. Overall suction seemed very good. The head is very low and easily gets under our sofa and armchairs. Detaching the canister to empty it was easy. Press one button to detach it from the machine and one button to empty the canister into the trash can. FANTASTIC! Love the fact that I can tell it's cleaning and I don't have to double check to see if the "bag/can" is full or if the brush/nozzle is spinning. The only downside right now is that you have to reach down to switch from high to low (carpet tile/hardwood). Everything else is activated while standing. The hose to use the attachments is a bit short but seems to work well for stairs. Every few steps you have to take your car because the hose is not long enough. Not sure how well it vacuums car floors but it worked GREAT on level 3 for all my floor mats without trying to vacuum them up! The second time I tried it I just left it on level 3 for everything and it worked great. All in all it seems to be a very good car. UPDATE: I was just struggling to find this review because I couldn't remember if I gave it 4 or 5 stars. After using it for a while and being really impressed with how well it picks up dirt and especially pet hair and how easy it is to empty I wanted to make sure I gave it 5 stars. I swear this thing must make its own mess - I couldn't believe how much it was sucking up in a room I thought was clean. As long as it proves to be durable this is a GREAT buy!
