. I still need side mirrors by law. This set of Rugged Ridge Mirrors installs in minutes and the mirror and mounting bar can be easily 'quick removed' and stowed in the garage when the doors are closed again. When I open the doors with the brackets installed, the doors swing far enough away from the car's A-pillar to avoid contact between the original mirrors and the new bracket. car, so you don't damage the paintwork during installation. If I would recommend removing only one screw at a time during installation and installing the new bracket with a new screw before removing the other screw. Then, with the first screw installed but loose, remove the second screw and replace it with a new screw through the mounting bracket. This keeps things from shifting around in the rack, potentially damaging the threads on the "internal" parts that you screw back together. I'm not sure what it was, but it looks like there was a piece of metal in my rack that wobbled around a bit when I tightened both screws on my first bracket install. I used this method on the passenger side and the installation was much easier.
