Just left this review. I bought these pads a few months ago and put them on my new breakfast table under a safety glass I bought to protect the surface. "I removed the glass cover today and these pads completely ruined the finish under every pad I've used. It looks like they are "fused to the paint" (see pictures). In addition, the pads are not always transparent and not very soft. Some are cloudy, and when a glass is placed on top of them over a table, the clear pads look almost dirty where they're cloudy. I'm disappointed - the description specifically says they won't damage the finish. Don't let that happen to you.
