The kit I received was very similar to the original. I really needed to replace the o-rings on the hoses, or at least the crankcase and valve cover hoses. I also had a broken crankcase hose clamp so I went to BMW for a replacement. The BMW hose fits a lot better and the hose fitting should work better with the right o-rings. For spare parts it is always better to go to the OEM. I knew it, but for the money the kit isn't bad. To put this in perspective, the single BMW hose I bought cost almost as much as the entire set. Everything else in the kit works perfectly. If you use this kit, make sure you have the correct o-rings.
