I love these Merrell Moab 2 shoes. I recently traveled to Colombia and almost bought hiking boots, but decided I wanted to do some more research. I was talking to a guy who works at another shoe store that sells a lot of brands and he suggested I check out Merrells. I had never heard of them before so I did a little research and found these Moab 2s and read LOTS of reviews. Because if I was to spend some money on sneakers, I wish they were worth it. Previous reviews have said that this shoe doesn't need a "break-in period" and that is absolutely true. They were very comfortable from the first wear. I have fairly large feet for a woman - I wear a size 9-10. My feet are also wide and flat. I didn't buy them in bulk, I bought the regular ones and they are still perfect. And the supinator is amazing! There is enough room in the toe box but not enough to let my feet slide like other shoes. The grip on the bottom is really solid and feels like real rubber rather than the plastic that others have recently switched to. I would highly recommend them to people who enjoy hiking and need a sturdy hiking shoe. They're super light too! I don't feel like they put any strain on my legs!
