These racks are fantastic! They fit the original equipment and if you watch a video on how to remove the old ones you won't have a problem. Basically you take a flathead screwdriver and pry off the metal retaining rings near each end, releasing the tension on the spring holding the end to the ball stud. I was able to do this with one hand while supporting the tailgate with the other. By keeping the spare post close, I was able to easily grab it and snap onto the ball studs. These racks are actually a bit sturdier than the original racks even when they were new so it now takes a bit more force to close the tailgate but that's a good issue.
