Review on Premium Guard PG111EX EXtended Performance by Damon Mertz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reviewed, one of the best you can buy.

Premium Guard lives up to its name. I turned to this brand after seeing a YouTube reviewer cut open several oil filters to show the difference. Filter pleats are the highest quality you can get and they flow just like the worst filters while filtering a lot more. The retention/drainage spring is a real spring, not just a butterfly-shaped piece of metal that can warp with heat (like my 110-degree summers in Arizona). After 3000km, the regular interval for my car, the oil on the dipstick was fairly clean, a little more yellow. Compared to the orange-dark color I've seen from other brands like the well-known K&N or cheap standard filters. If that means my car is more reliable then I'll buy PG filters for the rest of the world.
