I just got 4 Dell AC511 wired USB soundbars and I'm in love with them! I wasn't expecting anything exciting like booming bass and everything but I had a feeling Dell would do it and I was right - they sound great! Better than some parallel versions I've had. The installation process was fairly simple - just unpack, align the tabs on the bottom of the supported monitor and slide to the right to snap into place. They're easy to remove too, but I won't do it unless I hook up my tower to a crazy sounding audio receiver or something. These beauties save space on any desk and look great. They are also easy to grab. Once the soundbar is locked, a USB cable is plugged into one of my computer's USB 2.0 ports and everything else was a breeze. One of the first things I did was play a Barry White song called Love Serenade. Barry has a deep voice and the song itself was a pretty good acoustic test song for the speakers and as mentioned they sound great! I'm very pleased - so glad I have 4 of these on 4 identical Dell E2414H monitors, which are pretty good too by the way. I'm not the type of person to spend tons of money on the latest and greatest, although I'd love to upgrade to a new Rolling Stones audio release. However, speakers with 50% volume in Windows Basic Audio Controls combined with VLC Player while watching an old Columbo DVD sounded great too. The soundbar does not vibrate at all. I have to say one thing directly negative - if you call it that. I have a pair of side-by-side monitors as shown in the photo above where I was able to place a wired Logitech USB mouse on a plastic monitor stand. With the addition of the soundbar, I can't do that anymore, but that's okay. I have nothing bad to say about these speakers. They look great, connect easily to the monitor itself and cable connections are made via a simple USB connection. A 3.5mm audio plug is not required at all. I can introduce myself to someone on Skype and that would be great! Dell has a few other soundbar models that have more features and might sound a little better - I'll talk about those while shopping on Amazon. One of their newer ones (Dell Pro Stereo Soundbar AE515M) also had video conferencing buttons and a good mic, but I've just picked up 4 of these bad guys because I've already settled on a webcam with a mic. But someday when I upgrade to a 4K monitor over 24", I'll drop some bills and get a Dell Pro Stereo Soundbar AE515M for sure! At the moment I'm happy with the sound. their quality, appearance and simplicity. Dell has some good monitors and their new soundbars should be mounted on the bottom of the monitor or on a stand so that's nice. Grab some of these if you're looking for good sound quality.
