The 40w dawn to dusk bulb was hard to find in stores or online. Bought for the door from the terrace to the living room. 40 watts is spot on unless we want to light up our neighbors bonus room. The lamp has only been in use for a few weeks. while it works fine. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts. We don't have any experience with incandescent bulbs, but it's great that we don't have to replace the exterior lights.
