With a little fiddling I was able to install this torque converter on an old Briggs & Stratton kart. It has worked great for about 5 hours over the last year and a half. Suddenly the output shaft came loose from the aluminum housing. Not sure what's going on, I had to make modifications to the engine input shaft to get this to fit. As others have said you will need to replace most of the metric hardware that attaches to the motor with inch hardware. Otherwise the quality of the goods is quite good. In fact, I will buy a spare to replace this broken one.
