I am a beginner English rider (Horse western riders all my life) and have just returned to the saddle after 3 years without even sitting on a horse. I've never bought jodhpurs so it was my first and boy am I glad I did. I have the XL which fits perfectly, sits right on my belly button, I have a short torso and I like things to sit higher. The stretch is enough to make it look flattering, but everything is still held in place. I like the zipper on the side in front. It makes my tummy look a lot smaller than it really is, which is always a plus. Now let's talk about Griptek when they say it gets stuck in the saddle. They mean! I felt more confident in these breeches than I have ever felt in a suede saddle, western saddle and jeans. I don't lift my leg enough to swing! nni to be honest). Bottom line: They were worth every penny and I would recommend them to anyone who needs more sticks! Thank you Kerrits for making my first breechloading experience a success.
