Amazing Product

AMAZING! Okay first of all I worked in a high end art supply store for many years so I was very skeptical about buying such a cheap product but I read a lot of reviews and thought it was worth the risk. From my first sketch with them I have to say I'm in love. I love to paint with watercolors, but I never want to mess with things. This is such an amazing decision. Definitely learn to understand how to put the right amount of pigment on paper, mix it, etc. It's different from regular watercolor. One of the things that is less desirable than using regular watercolor is that if you put too much water on the paper and then stroke over it, the pen will pick up the water and you won't get the pigment applied, so you have to do wait for it to dry. It's certainly part of the learning curve and part of how the buttons work, I wouldn't call it a downside. The pigment is rich and applies well even to dry paper. I definitely have to say that a lot of the negative reviews are probably user error because you need to at least have a good understanding of how watercolor works.

Pros
  • Smudge-Free Watercolors These drawing markers give you precise control so you can do everything from light pastel strokes to subtle shadows and gradients. No fuss, mess, mess or worry.
